Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiberiu Iordan got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after El Gallo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Tiaguinho Soeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Gallo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that El Gallo's Tiaguinho Soeiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Tiaguinho Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tiaguinho Soeiro made a huge save. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiaguinho Soeiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Osmundo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, El Gallo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 40th minute Tiberiu Iordan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, El Gallo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Maiorga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Soeiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Gallo's Raul Maiorga got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tiaguinho Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes El Gallo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Victor Chano thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tiaguinho Soeiro, a very annoying self made goal in the 60th minute which led to 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marcelo Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marcelo Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho Soeiro. El Gallo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tiaguinho Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
