Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Unesson in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Rocco's Göran Unesson. But to his dismay, Göran Unesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 8 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Mark Eliasson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Malmström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sven-Edvin Mårtensson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Unesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Mårtensson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Olofsson in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Olofsson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Olofsson in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Olofsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Rocco made a substitution. Joel Lundström replaced Vilhelm Moberg. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
