Sven-Edvin Mårtensson came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Unesson in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Göran Unesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Rocco's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Unesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Olofsson in the 43rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Team Rocco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Bergfeldt to maneuver through the defense.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a huge save. In the 75th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Team Rocco from getting a goal against them. Team Rocco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alberto Tafalla 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Nordlund came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
