An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Sierocki in the 22nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Magallanes's Ruperto Salvadore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Jan Sierocki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Rami made a kick off. Jimeno Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Rami in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of the match. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Nevada. Jimeno Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the match was over Club Atlético Magallanes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colombia throughout the match.
