Filinto Palhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of the match. Filinto Palhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Eschenbaum in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Legalize MZ's Arne Eschenbaum slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Zapolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced Legalize MZ's goalkeeper Filinto Palhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filinto Palhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Legalize MZ's Fabian Zapolski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Eschenbaum came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 51 minutes of play, Legalize MZ's Arne Eschenbaum made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dário Coelho's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Filinto Palhares made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Filinto Palhares in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Filinto Palhares to make any attempt to save it. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Palhares having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Eschenbaum in the 78th minute of the match. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Arne Eschenbaum notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Palhares having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filinto Palhares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filinto Palhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 93 minute of play.
