The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Julian Borcz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julian Borcz. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Julian Borcz made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Julian Borcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute. Facundo Cadaval made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julian Borcz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Auktsjaur IF's Donald Mac Donald managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 35 minute of the game. Leonardo Leoz made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Auktsjaur IF's Donald Mac Donald. 37 minutes into the match, Patryk Frodyma notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Luis Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kevin Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auktsjaur IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Julian Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Shi Zhen Liang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Borcz having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz. Julian Borcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leonardo Leoz fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Leonardo Leoz a yellow card for diving instead. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julian Borcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Shi Zhen Liang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kevin Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auktsjaur IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shi Zhen Liang struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auktsjaur IF. Shi Zhen Liang charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shi Zhen Liang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Auktsjaur IF got a freekick which was hit by Shi Zhen Liang. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
