Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sarandí Fútbol Club's Albino Santo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albino Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rene Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Nastasio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sarandí Fútbol Club's Federico Belarmo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18th play minutes Albino Santo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ricardo Zorita and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Urti got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Jorge Magrina suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 24th match minute, Sarandí Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Urbes to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Albino Santo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Santo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Belarmo in the 53rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Belarmo in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Sarandí Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benjamin Berbiz hit a great ball. The supporters of Sarandí Fútbol Club booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Nastasio in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Federico Belarmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Belarmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Aurelio Urti hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Sarandí Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Urti to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Belarmo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Belarmo in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Belarmo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Sarandí Fútbol Club were the better team. Sarandí Fútbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
