Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Reyes in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 35th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Täger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Reyes's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Ryynänen who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Parque Europa FC's Samuel Ryynänen to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Aureliano Soto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Ryynänen came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
