Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Flink in the 4th minute of play. Henning Flink scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Henning Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Flink in the 15th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Henning Flink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Henning Flink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. In the 26th minute, Glemmingebro IF's Henning Flink dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Henning Flink might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henning Flink ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Peter Sjöström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Henning Flink took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Gustaf Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Puig was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Costa Rica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 60 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Sjöström came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Glemmingebro IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gustaf Hansson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Glemmingebro IF's Gustaf Hansson. But to his dismay, Gustaf Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 88th minute Felix Tinglöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Hansson in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glemmingebro IF fully deserved thier win.
