Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wu Liang Mo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Guerra in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ricardo Guerra put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Ricardo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEXACOMX. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 27th minute of play. Ricardo Guerra took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ricardo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. MEXACOMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute of play. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Guerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Guerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Rangel having to interfere. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. Ricardo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Guerra got free with Julio Vera in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Fryderyk Gierlach replaced Cláudio Leite. After 91 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio-César Romo-Leroux who took care of the corner kick. Ricardo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
