Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Gelmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Siro Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute of the match, Siro Benvido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Siro Benvido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Sotelo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robustiano Gelmiro. Robustiano Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Esteve Mosen's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Mosen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Sotelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Håkan Skager capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Skager really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sotelo AFC's Siro Benvido. But to his dismay, Siro Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sotelo AFC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Gelmiro came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Skager in the 46th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sotelo AFC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Benvido to make the kick off. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Hilario Muc made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Sotelo AFC made a substitution. Cui Liang Yue replaced Siro Benvido. In the 68th minute Cui Liang Yue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Sotelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Esteve Mosen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Mosen. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 83rd match minute, Sotelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Antonio Tenorio sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Robustiano Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sotelo AFC had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
