An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Walczak in the 3rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernard Zajac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Eugeniusz Komanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Miralles struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Bernard Zajac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Panama's Miguel Miralles got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's Tomas Berganza managed to work through Gruszowiec's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomas Berganza dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Bernard Zajac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gruszowiec booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Zajac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Matthew Garrido heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bernard Zajac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dominik Walczak sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Zajac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Walczak came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Gruszowiec were awarded a corner. Ksawery Polkoski went to the cornerflag to take it. Gruszowiec's Ksawery Polkoski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Dominik Walczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Ignacy Bubczyk hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Zajac saved Gruszowiec from getting behind. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Walczak in the 58th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bernard Zajac made a huge save. Zachary Zawadzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Gruszowiec's protests and gave Ksawery Polkoski a yellow card for diving instead. Ksawery Polkoski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Eugeniusz Komanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gruszowiec and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Gruszowiec got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Komanski. Panama were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gruszowiec to leave the ground with a draw.
