Traian Nichitelea's late challenge caught a Canada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Nichitelea helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sotelo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Canada a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Koby Wright, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro. 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Cirilo Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sotelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 21st minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Benvido's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jax Williamson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 23rd play minutes Siro Benvido shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jax Williamson and just under the crossbar into goal. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Traian Nichitelea hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Koby Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Traian Nichitelea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sotelo AFC! Kevin Tevreden kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Canada were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koby Wright made a kick off. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Robustiano Gelmiro made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Robustiano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 62nd minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. It was a well-played corner which Theo Burton managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 66th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Skager. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. In the 68th minute, Håkan Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Sotelo AFC from getting a goal against them. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cui Liang Yue in the 70th minute of play. Theo Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theo Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Robustiano Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Edwards in the 75th minute of the match. Robustiano Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nate Mills to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Bembe. In the 84th minute of the match, Filip Edwards tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robustiano Gelmiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cui Liang Yue charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cui Liang Yue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Cui Liang Yue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Edwards in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robustiano Gelmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Canada were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Sotelo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Dixon took the corner. In the 92nd minute, Canada's Theo Burton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robustiano Gelmiro. Robustiano Gelmiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
