Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Anselm Hayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Anselm Hayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paul Some who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ekrem Avşar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Some in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lance Malliouris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Persson got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. If Bengt Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bengt Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselm Hayer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Anselm Hayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Anselm Hayer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Ekrem Avşar. Bengt Persson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Schonebeck. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 44th minute. Anselm Hayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselm Hayer in the 52nd minute of the match. Sébastien Heintz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Schonebeck. The supporters of FC Schonebeck booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Malliouris having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, FC Schonebeck's Bengt Persson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Schonebeck's Carmine Anastasi was substituted for Michael Laudrup. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Drinkard in the 81st minute of the match. If Bengt Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 92nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Spengler came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Schonebeck were the better team. FC Schonebeck's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
