Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Petre Stolniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Aquilino Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Stolniceanu was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Gomosao F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Umea to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Radu Jder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomosao F.C. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Gomosao F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Sancho to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jesus Baristo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Petre Stolniceanu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petre Stolniceanu. That made the score 2-3 in the 65 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Stolniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Aquilino Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Aquilino Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gomosao F.C.'s Aquilino Nuxila shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Baristo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomosao F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
