Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Patxi in the 2nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Suárez Yasin. The goal made the score 2-0. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Placido Patxi made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 24 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Suárez Yasin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnulfo Sotil hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Suárez Yasin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suárez Yasin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Suárez Yasin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Placido Patxi made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Placido Patxi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Suárez Yasin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 54th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Espinillo defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suárez Yasin. The Espinillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suárez Yasin should have stopped the shot. Suárez Yasin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of the match. Ezequiel Onbera did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-3 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Patxi got free with Julio Vera in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Suárez Yasin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Placido Patxi sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Onbera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Suárez Yasin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Onbera in the 90th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ezequiel Onbera sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Suárez Yasin having to make a save. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
