Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Matthew Frutig made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Gimenez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After 7 played minutes Helbreath got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Ignazio. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helbreath's Pablo Gimenez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Helbreath from getting a goal against them. After 13 minutes Helbreath's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pablo Gimenez quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Pablo Gimenez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Gimenez having to make a save. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Gimenez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Pablo Gimenez in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Helbreath's Pablo Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthew Frutig who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Matthew Frutig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Gogo Fertus hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pablo Gimenez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Isaac Mitxel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Pablo Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Helbreath's Teobaldo Ibar was substituted for Bartolo Ignazio. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Helbreath got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthew Frutig ran over to the corner to take the kick. Helbreath's Matthew Frutig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 81 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Gimenez. Helbreath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Helbreath's Isaac Mitxel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Isaac Mitxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
