In the 19th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Astrada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Van de kauter in the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Moises Gayoso to a score. 0-3 in the 38th minute. Reynaldo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 51st match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Reynaldo Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Van de kauter came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Daníel Passarelli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 55 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Luke Van de kauter. But to his dismay, Luke Van de kauter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb made a substitution. Isaias Gerazan replaced Isidro Gabrio. In the 65th minute of the game Daníel Passarelli made a throw-in which Prudencio Ralondo played forward. 67 minutes into the match, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Reynaldo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Ralondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ralondo in the 74th minute of play. If Eduardo Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 89th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Astrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Prudencio Ralondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Ralondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. In the 95th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Astrada. Reynaldo Astrada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb throughout the match.
