Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Papanikolas having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Kravaris in the 10th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilias Papanikolas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Markos Sotiriadis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Papanikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Grigoris Tzorvas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Antonis Meintanis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 40th minute. Lautaro Puig made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that Trifillia.FC's Ilias Papanikolas managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dimitris Vrakozonis hit a great ball. Ilias Papanikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aris Kravaris made the kick off in the second half. Nikos Markopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Chiotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Makis Chiotis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Trifillia.FC. Achilleas Karaflas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 1-1. When Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Markopoulos in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Achilleas Karaflas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achilleas Karaflas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Papanikolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilias Papanikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 94th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Kravaris in the 96th minute of play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
