Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panathinaikos FC's Dexter Holt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Dutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Panathinaikos FC's Paul Iftodi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Dutton having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dexter Holt came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Paul Iftodi sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Glauco Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Dexter Holt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Panathinaikos FC's 乔光云 got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dexter Holt in the 64th minute of the match. Dexter Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Dutton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Dutton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Holt in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Dutton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Iftodi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Iftodi in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dexter Holt went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Panathinaikos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
