Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jesus Baristo started the match with the kick off. Petre Stolniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 3rd minute of play forced Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Jesus Baristo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Gomosao F.C.'s Petre Stolniceanu got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Jesus Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the game Gerardo Sancho made a throw-in which Radu Jder played forward. Petre Stolniceanu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Petre Stolniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 37th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Dalmai in the 41st minute of play. When Edmundo Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Edmundo Espiga a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Sancho during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Gomosao F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Baristo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gerardo Sancho in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Petre Stolniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Gomosao F.C.'s Vicente Dalmai got a free kick in the 59th minute. Petre Stolniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Petre Stolniceanu. Gomosao F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Baristo in the 69th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petre Stolniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 73rd minute of play. The throw-in from Anselmo Umea in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Christian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valentín Carvallo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Honduras protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valentín Carvallo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 80 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Lautaro Navarro, was totally fooled by Gomosao F.C.'s Silvestre Ongile, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 85th minute, Vicente Dalmai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Fermin Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Fermin Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Bieito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Baristo got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Baristo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gomosao F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
