In the last second Ilias Papanikolas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Aris Kravaris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Ilias Papanikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trifillia.FC's Ilias Papanikolas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20thth minute of the game Aris Kravaris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trifillia.FC's Ilias Papanikolas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Kravaris in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Makis Chiotis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Makis Chiotis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Makis Chiotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifillia.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Chiotis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilias Papanikolas. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. Ntinos Kyzeridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Luca Espinar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ilias Papanikolas made a huge save. Vaggelis Salonikis made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Markos Sotiriadis however managed to control. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ntinos Kyzeridis got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilias Papanikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilias Papanikolas. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilias Papanikolas should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Tzorvas to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Makis Chiotis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Espinar in the 74th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Ilias Papanikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilias Papanikolas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Makis Chiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Vaggelis Salonikis with Markos Sotiriadis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Grigoris Tzorvas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trifillia.FC. Makis Chiotis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
