Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Sidney Joannes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Leonardo Gai hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Pipis Culot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Patricio Lluterio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
