Gotham City were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Ellis took the corner. The corner led Gotham City's Victor Ellis to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Lundin in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gotham City's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 贺德凌 came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Henry Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but 贺德凌 made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Henry Hernström. In the 27th minute, Daniel Wennerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniel Wennerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 贺德凌 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Arne Wennerqvist scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Michael Lundin hit a great ball. Daniel Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the game Victor Ellis made a throw-in which Otto Apelquist played forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Arne Wennerqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gotham City booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carballal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Michael Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but 贺德凌 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Lundin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 71 in the game by Michael Lundin from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Gotham City's 贺德凌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 72nd minute of play. Henry Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Wennerström went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 87th minute. Victor Ellis got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Wennerström. In the 94th play minute Daniel Wennerström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 0-5. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gotham City's performance. The match ended with a win for Gotham City.
