In the 26thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WOLVES FC's Rafa Lojewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the USA defense, Adrianinho Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Jenson Smith made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Monty Rogers. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 62nd minute, Adrianinho Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Rafa Lojewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Adrianinho Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day.
