Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Décio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Kellerbräu FC's Marten Möller shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Ekenberg's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Ekenberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Kellerbräu FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Ekenberg. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Elzer in the 20th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Schumacher in the 23rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Kellerbräu FC's goalkeeper Décio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 35th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Kellerbräu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Jürgen Grunert in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Kellerbräu FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fortunato Schumacher ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Schumacher during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fortunato Schumacher hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Fortunato Schumacher made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Schumacher in the 51st minute of the match. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Décio Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Décio Garcia in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Décio Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kellerbräu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Primitivo Andino suffered a sore knee after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hans-Jürgen Grunert charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans-Jürgen Grunert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Kellerbräu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Jürgen Grunert to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Décio Garcia came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ecuador played a much better game than Kellerbräu FC and deserved their victory. The Kellerbräu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
