Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Mareș in the 5th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abraham Alguacil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Pauli Palander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Marius Levința made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vlashers's Pauli Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 22nd minute of play. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pauli Palander having to interfere. Pauli Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gigel Ghișerel was slow to take the kick. During this time Vlashers's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Marius Levința drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Panama's goalkeeper. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Marius Levința sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Pauli Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vlashers's Dorel Petcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nechifor Cosor. 70 minutes into the match, Nechifor Cosor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nechifor Cosor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Stelaru kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Marius Levința could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The supporters of Panama booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Domenghini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Vlashers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vlashers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
