The supporters of Honduras booed when União Desportiva Airão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuan Le Xun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 30th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Moutinho. União Desportiva Airão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind União Desportiva Airão's goalkeeper Gualter Moutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ademar Bulhosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Bulhosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Yuan Le Xun made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game.

After 53 played minutes União Desportiva Airão got a freekick which was hit by Yuan Le Xun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter Moutinho saved União Desportiva Airão from getting behind. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Gualter Moutinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, União Desportiva Airão's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Gualter Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Moutinho was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nivaldo Lameirinhas scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to União Desportiva Airão getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Berkin Şahkar hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gualter Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 94 minutes União Desportiva Airão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Sebastian Villa to score against Gualter Moutinho in União Desportiva Airão's goal. 1-3 after 94 minutes.
