Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedict Baird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Benedict Baird in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Lautaro Navarro had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Mihnea Vasilian hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Resistencia Tayrona FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ingmar Kracke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hickman in the 37th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedict Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingmar Kracke during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Kracke to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Benedict Baird was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resistencia Tayrona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Stanislav Dvorskiy came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Xusto Lasquibar was substituted for Mihnea Vasilian. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maore Tejerina in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Maore Tejerina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Resistencia Tayrona FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingmar Kracke in the 92nd minute. The corner led Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ingmar Kracke to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Resistencia Tayrona FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
