The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Skager, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Håkan Skager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Skager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Skager in the 37th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Skager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Cirilo Bembe sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Marcos Cotilla showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Benvido was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sotelo AFC's Håkan Skager slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the match, Siro Benvido notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sotelo AFC's Siro Benvido in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcos Cotilla guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Siro Benvido did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Marcos Cotilla 63 minutes into the match. Alex Cambeiro made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro managed to reach the ball for a save. When Cui Liang Yue came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sotelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cui Liang Yue couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Cui Liang Yue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Cui Liang Yue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Cui Liang Yue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cui Liang Yue in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Panama booed when Sotelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Nichitelea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Cui Liang Yue tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Tevreden. Sotelo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
