The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Florian to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes Despidida AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. A sloppy throw-in by Jimeno Florian in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Eleazar having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Costa made a kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Despidida AFC reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Argider came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hernan Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gaztea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Hernan Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Florian during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jimeno Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to Despidida AFC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Patricio Costa tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Hernan Eleazar seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. 0-1 came in the 90th minute when Patricio Costa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Hernan Eleazar.
