Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Berg in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Angel-Enrique Comizzo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Berg in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Berg in the 20th minute of the match. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Angel-Enrique Comizzo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Berg in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute. Alf Björk hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After the first half Blue Angels were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Markus Berg from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel-Enrique Comizzo having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Berg in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Thomas Rogne got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Björk in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Blue Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassan Yusuf to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Skark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel-Enrique Comizzo having to interfere. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
