In the 14th minute of the game Eugeniusz Ryback made a throw-in which Aleksander Tomporowski played forward. In the 21st minute El Salvador were awarded a corner. Mateo Leguizamo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mateo Leguizamo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernard Jarosz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's goalkeeper Bernard Jarosz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Luque. If Janusz Falkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ksawery Waselewicz sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Bernard Jarosz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Opat to maneuver through the defense. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Falkowski in the 54th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aleksander Tomporowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Eugeniusz Ryback might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugeniusz Ryback ran back to his position shaking his head. Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's Bernard Jarosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Leguizamo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mateo Leguizamo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 66 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG the free kick. The supporters of Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Aleksander Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Janusz Falkowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 94 minutes, Witomir Rostow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Rostow to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
