The Sotelo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Benvido went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Skager in the 14th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Skager in the 16th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Skager in the 17th minute of the match. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Håkan Skager made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Benvido in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Benvido came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32nd play minutes Håkan Skager shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Ricardo Zorita and just under the crossbar into goal. 35 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Benvido came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Siro Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Siro Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Benvido in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Bembe came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siro Benvido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sotelo AFC's Siro Benvido got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Skager in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Siro Benvido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Siro Benvido really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Cui Liang Yue scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 0-7. Sotelo AFC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cui Liang Yue took the corner. 84 minutes into the game, Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Valentino Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A hard shot by Cui Liang Yue from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Ricardo Zorita's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sotelo AFC played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
