The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tebaldo Alcantara hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eligio Feliu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Kajetan Pionek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Pionek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eligio Feliu in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robertinho Lewandowski during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s Kajetan Pionek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. Ezker Dorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Pionek came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eligio Feliu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 95th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Venezuela failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
