Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antonio 1961 FC the free kick. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Xaiver Balboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antonio 1961 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaiver Balboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Xaiver Balboa came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmu Titos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barto Torrent in the 20th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Antonio 1961 FC's Dalmu Titos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalmu Titos in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Xaiver Balboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barto Torrent struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antonio 1961 FC.

The wind increased when Eliseo Noboa made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Antonio 1961 FC defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Quintas. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmu Titos in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Antonio 1961 FC had played much better football throughout.
