Jerzy Piechna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Karl-Åke Giliusson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Simon Bergsten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When Jerzy Piechna in the 33rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jonathan Ferrant kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Tim Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tim Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Tomas Illescas in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Bergsten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tim Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rio Newton took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Simon Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Bergsten having to make a save. Project X made a substitution. John Gallagher replaced Nikki Elin. Tim Holmgren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Simon Bergsten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Project X fully deserved thier win.
