Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luka Harris sped through Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Dante. A hard shot 9 in the game by Breno Loyola from a close distance when the talented Jax Williamson managed to make a qualified save. Canada's players were relieved. With his leg Jax Williamson managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 12th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Dante came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Rohan Watson. But to his dismay, Rohan Watson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Sá. With an all-out effort, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Jax Williamson threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aníbal Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Harris in the 36th minute of play. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 37th minute. Breno Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Breno Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koby Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Koby Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haroldo Dante made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rohan Watson sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Varban Pavlikyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Varban Pavlikyanov fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's protests and gave Varban Pavlikyanov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Varban Pavlikyanov got a free kick in the 70th minute. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Varban Pavlikyanov hit a great ball. The supporters of Canada booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Varban Pavlikyanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Burton took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Dante. Haroldo Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nilmar de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Edwards in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Dante having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Filip Edwards made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Canada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
