Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play forced ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper Ronny Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Moore hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lico Tarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The ATLETAS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
