Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pantelija Bou started the match with the kick off. Anselmo Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 7th minute. In the 10th match minute, Göpsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan Babacan to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Cihan Babacan got his second yellow card in the match during the 12th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cihan Babacan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yunus Canver went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Anselmo Furlan in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Chile booed when Göpsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pantelija Bou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunus Canver in the 41st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Furlan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Göpsen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Göpsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Göpsen FC's Yunus Canver got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Anselmo Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Anselmo Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Charles Gallot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute of play forced Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. The Göpsen FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chile from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
