Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bjarte Paul made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 9 minutes Hummerfiskarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Hummerfiskarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Holger Mattsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hummerfiskarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Holger Mattsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bolli Bolla. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Bergfelt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 42nd minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Bolli Bolla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolli Bolla in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 61st minute of play. Hummerfiskarna's Rickard Malmström was substituted for Bjarte Paul. Holger Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Holger Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Bolla in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rickard Malmström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hummerfiskarna were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
