But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Luque couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Raureni Academy's Călin Boldișor. Joshua Curbelo made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abram Luque. In the 24th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Călin Barbosu. Raureni Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Muscă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ilie Velicu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raureni Academy's protests and gave Ilie Velicu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Ilie Velicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raureni Academy's Mugur Muscă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo, made in the 39th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Raureni Academy's Marin Puric. The Raureni Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilie Velicu to make the kick off. Raureni Academy's Călin Barbosu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes, Mateo Leguizamo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Raureni Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Barbosu. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 66th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Budulea to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Călin Barbosu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Călin Barbosu made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Abram Luque made a precise shot to the right of Călin Barbosu. Raureni Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With his leg Călin Barbosu managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Magrina, made in the 94th minute of the game. El Salvador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
