In the 10th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 谢宁骏 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Motala AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Motala AIF's 谢宁骏 did a great save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gur Aslan in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 谢宁骏 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Motala AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Lucas Batliner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 谢宁骏. Motala AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 谢宁骏 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. 谢宁骏 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 70th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 谢宁骏 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 谢宁骏 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute. Motala AIF's 谢宁骏 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes Motala AIF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Rouco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 谢宁骏 having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Fromm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with 谢宁骏 in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Motala AIF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
