Călin Barbosu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Barbosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Barbosu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Barbosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Navarro made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sebastian Villa however managed to control. 41 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Barbosu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 45 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Călin Barbosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Edmundo Espiga in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
