The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 27 minutes of play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 31 minutes, Ayberk Akgün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DS ACADEMY TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ayberk Akgün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off.
