The audience thought a goal was coming when Batuhan Bilgin got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Harendarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After 27th play minutes Batuhan Bilgin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Uruguay booed when AtletikEdirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Ünal Akbel in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AtletikEdirne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
