But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Prusek got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tao Cheng Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to EL RUSSO FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gaztea Valensuela hit a great ball. Gaztea Valensuela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced EL RUSSO FC's goalkeeper Tao Cheng Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when EL RUSSO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tao Cheng Zhi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Olgierd Prusek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaztea Valensuela in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Max Ferro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaztea Valensuela made a kick off. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. EL RUSSO FC's Tao Cheng Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's goalkeeper Tao Cheng Zhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, EL RUSSO FC's Tao Cheng Zhi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tao Cheng Zhi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tao Cheng Zhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience was convinced that Gaztea Valensuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Ferro in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Prusek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tao Cheng Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than EL RUSSO FC.
