In the 8th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Alberto Tafalla played forward. After 15 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Villalcazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Macos Graciani in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cuatrodeocho's Ramiro Oliverio. David Batuhin took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Entrena to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fulgencio Villalcazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Batuhin in the 29th minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Villalcazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Cadaval ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Fulgencio Villalcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Villalcazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Batuhin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Villalcazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. David Batuhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Villalcazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Villalcazar. That made the score 1-6 after 68 minutes of play. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Iván Villafane replaced Horea Băieșu. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Villafane in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Villalcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Villafane came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuatrodeocho were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Batuhin took the corner.
