Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 2nd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 7th minute, but Abel Reyes got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving C.A.P.J. hanging dry this time. In the 9th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Abel Reyes made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Abel Reyes made a huge save. After having played for 20 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When C.A.P.J.'s Serafin Criston in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Reyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Abel Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Abel Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Reyes having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Feng Jing came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Criston in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Serafin Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Abel Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Nicodim Alecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Abel Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. Abel Reyes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Abel Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Liu Feng Jing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Abel Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
