Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Geovanni Leme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Carneiro. Colognese FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Alfredinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. Ruben Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colognese FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Carneiro came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Casado's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Silvério Barreto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Colognese FC's Rurik Öhlmann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Andino in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ruben Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ruben Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rurik Öhlmann was slow to take the kick. During this time Colognese FC's players had a chance to rest. Colognese FC's Ioan Cocârlă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Colognese FC made a substitution. Luan Leal replaced Ruben Casado. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Luan Leal made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luan Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Luan Leal took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Batista in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Luan Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colognese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Colognese FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Michael Telin hit a great ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Colognese FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
